What is a “green” building? What is LEED? Is there money to be saved or made with energy efficiency and what about careers? Join Energy SIG for another all-star panel discussion!
According to the US Green Building Council (USGBC), developers of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) standard, a “green building” can result in up to a 50% reduction in energy use, a 40% reduction in water use, and a 70% reduction in solid waste production. Additionally, green structures are healthier environments for inhabitants with enormous well-being and financial benefits. But, how do you make all that real? Event’s panelists are working to do just that. Join the event to explore green building and interact with some of the thought leaders in the space already “making it happen”.
