The Crossroad for BioTransfer event is a key meeting that brings together the biotechnology business and science communities. For its 3rd edition, the Crossroad for BioTransfer will take place in Boston, MA. For this special edition, the MTTC has joined National Research Council Canada (NRC), Excellerator and Gestion Univalor to present their best licensing opportunities in Life Sciences in the health sector.
The Crossroad for BioTransfer will showcase over 35 licensing opportunities in the health technology portfolios of from the NRC, McGill University, Gestion Univalor and the MTTC. Attendees will be able to schedule meetings with the presenting organizations in order to assess high impact innovations and commercial endeavours.
For this event MTTC will select seven health technologies for licensing to give 10 minutes presentations. All offered technologies should focus around:
- Novel biopharmaceuticals broadly defined as “the convergence of biotechnologies and pharmaceutical science for the development of medical drugs discovered or produced using biotechnology including innovative chemicals, vaccines, and biologics for therapeutics and diagnostic purposes”; and
- Technology platforms for drug discovery, development and production covering applications such as protein expression, drug delivery and gene markers.
