“Strategic Alliances as a Tool for Rebuilding Profits in the New Global Economy.â€
The LES Strategic Alliances Committee is pleased to present a seminar focused on leveraging the innovative potential of America’s small and mid-sized companies to leapfrog ahead in the new global economy. In the current recession, small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs) are likely to be significant engines of growth in the early stages of the recovery. More flexible and nimble, such firms are able to more rapidly exploit emerging market opportunities. Even more importantly, they can tap into a number of federal and state programs that subsidize R&D and product development. By building supply chains that include these IP suppliers, companies can leverage available technology and government R&D funding in areas of significant opportunity such as green energy, healthcare, transportation, education, and sustainable natural resource extraction.
The seminar will take place Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the offices of Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP, 60 State Street, 26th Floor, Boston, MA 02109 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
The cost is $25 for LES members and $35 for non-members.
