About the Conference
The MIT Energy Conference brings together leaders in the fields of technology, policy, industry, and finance to develop solutions for the tremendous challenges present in energy today. This year’s theme, Accelerating Change in Global Energy, provides the backdrop for a thorough and fact-based discussion regarding the need for fundamental change in the way the world produces and consumes energy. The conference is comprised of the Friday New England Energy Showcase which is open to the public on March 6th, and a series of panels and keynotes requiring registration on March 7th.

The conference will again include the Friday New England Energy Showcase which brings together cutting-edge energy research and inventive businesses, from MIT and the surrounding area. This event, sponsored by Polaris Venture Partners, is FREE and OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Last year over 1,200 people took advantage of this exciting opportunity to engage with the most promising technologists and entrepreneurs in a casual and festive setting. The Showcase is on Friday, March 6th from 5 to 8pm at the Marriott Hotel.
