Boston University invites entrepreneurs to attend an open house on October 15, 2008. The purpose of the event is to match prospective entrepreneurs with translational projects emerging from Boston University’s research portfolio.
Boston University conducts over $300 million in research each year across a broad range of topics in healthcare, medicine, engineering and science. The university has several active translational research programs that work with research faculty to focus their basic research discoveries on practical applications. We will feature 20 of these translational projects at this networking event and encourage entrepreneurs to meet with the engineers and scientists behind each project with the hope of catalyzing new opportunities for venture creation.
