Director, Office of Technology Licensing
The Office of Technology Development (OTD) at Boston University has a current opening for a Director, Office of Technology Licensing.
Reporting to the Executive Director, Technology Transfer, the Director will supervise a staff currently consisting of 6 professionals who:
- identify and protect the intellectual property that has commercial value, including patentable inventions, copyrightable material, biological materials, mask works and data
- commercialize this intellectual property via license and sponsored research agreements with companies
- facilitate creation of new companies to commercialize technologies when appropriate
for both Boston University and Boston Medical Center (BMC).
