The Early-Stage Life Sciences Technology Conference is a showcase for platform life sciences technologies developed at the research institutions, hospitals and universities of Massachusetts and for recently formed Massachusetts companies.  The Forum is an opportunity for these companies and researchers to present to an audience of angel investors, venture capitalists and corporate investors.

Panel Discussion:  “A New Translational Medicine Player - The New Role of Patients and Philanthropists in Pushing Technologies into the Marketplace”.  This panel will examine how foundations see their role in supporting the translation of basic research into new products:  how and when they decide to invest their time and money; what returns they expect; how they fund their efforts; and what they can contribute to the process in addition to funding.  The panelists include:
