Licensing Associate/Sr. Licensing Associate
The Office of Corporate Sponsored Research and Licensing (CSRL) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Brigham & Women’s Hospital (BWH) is responsible for all interactions between MGH/BWH, its clinical and research staff and industry, having to do with industrial support of research, the protection of biological materials and intellectual property (patents and copyrights) and any commercialization of the results of research, regardless of sponsorship.
The Sr. Technology Licensing Associate will report to an Associate Director. S/he will work with investigators, outside counsel and industry to identify and protect the intellectual property arising from the investigators’ research activities. S/he will also be responsible for drafting and negotiating agreements pertaining to research, licensing and other aspects of investigator/industry interactions.
